SPECIAL CALL MEETING TO DISCUSS TENTATIVE AGREEMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2008/2009 CONTRACT

 

William Bryles, Union President, our Negotiation Team, and James Moore, Union Attorney, has completed our proposals with the City of Oklahoma City for the Fiscal Year 2008/2009.  We have reached a Tentative Agreement for the 2008/2009 contract and we are requesting that you attend this meeting scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2008, at noon.  The meeting will be held at AFSCME Local 2406 at 3400 S. Western, in Oklahoma City, to discuss all proposals that you will be voting on.  The reason for this Special Call meeting being held on a Saturday is to ensure that you receive your cost of living raise on July 1, 2008.  During this meeting, we will only be discussing the proposed 2008/2009 contract.

 

The ratification vote will be held on Monday, June 9, 2008, and the polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. The vote will be held at AFSCME Local 2406 at 3400 S. Western, in Oklahoma City.  Please come out to vote, EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
