   AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES LOCAL 2406, AFL-CIO

2008/2009 CONTRACT RATIFICATION

 

The following changes to the Contract were ratified on May 13, 2008:

 

§ CAA will supply a copy of the pay chart for all bargaining unit positions so it can be included into the contract;

 

§ Article 23.3- Addition—The Union President and/or AFSCME Local 2406’s Business Agent shall appoint who will negotiate this with the Agency on behalf of the Union.  CAA will supply a copy of the premiums and prescription co-pays for the insurance options available to the employees through the Agency.

 

§ Effective April 1, 2008 all employees listed on Addendum “A” shall receive an increase in the amount of 3% in the hourly rate of pay.

 

§ Chris Archer’s position will be added onto Addendum “A” and the Agency will begin deducting dues from his pay starting April 2008.

 

§ The Agency will provide the Union with copies of all the Agency’s policies and procedures for Head Start and for all other positions in the Agency.

 

§ Article 18.1-Amendment—Employee Appreciation Day- Employee Appreciation day for contract year 2008-2009 only as an additional day of leave, on a date to be determined by the Executive Director.
